Abstract

: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف التحديات والحلول المرتبطة بتوفير بيئة تعليمية ملائمة للطلاب ذوي الإعاقة البصرية في الجامعات الفلسطينية. من خلال مقابلات شخصية مع مديرة مركز خدمات ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في جامعة بيت لحم، تم تحليل أنواع الإعاقات البصرية والإجراءات المتبعة لتقديم المواءمات اللازمة، بالإضافة إلى التحديات التي تواجه كل من الطلاب وإدارة الجامعة. أشارت النتائج إلى أن استخدام التقنيات المساعدة قد حسّن بشكل كبير من استقلالية الطلاب وتفاعلهم الأكاديمي والاجتماعي. ومع ذلك، لا تزال هناك عقبات مثل التكلفة العالية للأجهزة وصعوبة تحويل المواد التعليمية إلى صيغ ملائمة. اختتمت الدراسة بتقديم توصيات لتعزيز دمج الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة البصرية في البيئة الجامعية وضمان تكافؤ الفرص التعليمية لهم.
Abstract: This study aims to explore the challenges and solutions associated with providing a suitable educational environment for visually impaired students in Palestinian universities. Through personal interviews with the Director of the Special Needs Services Center at Bethlehem University, the types of visual impairments and the procedures followed to provide the necessary accommodations were analyzed, along with the challenges faced by both students and university administration. The results indicated that the use of assistive technologies significantly improved the students' independence and their academic and social interaction. However, obstacles such as the high cost of devices and the difficulty of converting educational materials into accessible formats remain. The study concluded with recommendations to enhance the integration of visually impaired students into the university environment and ensure equal educational opportunities for them.
