الأداء الوالدي التأملي وعلاقته بجودة علاقة الأمهات بأبنائهن لدى عينة من الأمهات بمدينة جدة Reflective Parental Functioning and Its Relationship to The Mother–Child Relationship Quality among a Sample of Mothers in Jeddah City

المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى معرفة طبيعة العلاقة بين الأداء الوالدي التأملي وعلاقته بجودة علاقة الأمهات بأبنائهن لدى عينة من الأمهات بمدينة جدة والفروق -إن وجدت- بين متوسطات درجات عينة البحث على مقياس الأداء الوالدي التأملي تبعاً لأثر التفاعل بين عمر الأمهات ومستواهن التعليمي لدى عينة الدراسة من (134) أماً ، تتراوح أعمارهن ما بين (23-56) عاماً ، وتم تطبيق الأدوات التالية : مقياس الأداء الـوالدي التأملي إعداد (Luyten et al., 2017) وترجمة الباحثة، و مقياس جودة علاقة الأم بالطفل إعداد الباحثة، وتوصل البحث لعدة نتائج منها: وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائياً بين درجات بعد أوضاع ما قبل التعقل وبُعدي الشعور بالارتباط العاطفي بين الأم واستجابة الأم ،ووجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائياً بين درجات بعد أوضاع ما قبل التعقل وبُعد إحساس الأم بالمشاعر السلبية تجاه الطفل ،ووجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائياً بين درجات بعد الاهتمام والفضول بالحالات العقلية وكل من بعد إحساس الأم بالكفاءة، وبعد الشعور بالارتباط العاطفي بين الأم والطفل وبُعد استجابة الأم  ،ووجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائياً بين درجات بعد اليقين وبُعد إحساس الأم بالكفاءة، وبُعد الشعور بالارتباط العاطفي بين الأم والطفل وبعد استجابة الأم ، وقد نوقشت هذه النتائج في ضوء الإطار النظري والدراسات السابقة وتم وضع التوصيات.
 
Abstract: The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between Reflective Parental Functioning and its relationship to the quality of mothers’ relationships with their children among a sample of mothers in the city of Jeddah, and to identify the differences - if any - between the average scores of the study sample on the scale of Reflective Parental Functioning according to the effect of the interaction between the mothers’ age and their educational level. The study sample consisted of (134) mothers, aged between (23-56) years. The results of the study revealed the existence of a statistically significant negative correlation between the scores of the Pre-Mentalizing Modes dimension and the two dimensions of Mother-Child-Bonding and Maternal Responsiveness, and the existence of a significant positive correlation between the scores of the dimension of Pre-Mentalizing Modes and the dimension of the Mother’s Feeling of Negative Feelings Towards the Child, and there was statistically significant positive correlation between the scores of the dimension of Interest and Curiosity in Mental States and each of the dimensions of the Mother’s Sense of Competence, the dimension of Mother-Child-Bonding and the dimension of the Mother’s Responsiveness, and the presence of a statistically significant negative correlation between  the dimension of Certainty about Mental States and the dimensions of the Mother’s Sense of Competence, Mother-Child-Bonding and the dimension of the Mother’s Responsiveness. These results were discussed in light of the theoretical framework and previous studies, and recommendations were suggested.
