Abstract

The present study aimed at revealing the effectiveness of using virtual lab in science course on female students of ninth-grade students improvement in visual thinking skills. The experimental approach according to the one shot pretest post test case study design was followed. A sample consisting of 20 female students from the ninth grade in a preparatory school in Gaza Strip in Palestine were chosen as participants. A tool which measure the skills of visual thinking was used. The results showed a statistically significant differences in visual thinking skills between the two applications (pre & post) in favor of the post application. Results also showed that using virtual lab was effective in improving visual thinking skills, according to the rate of Blake gain
